Applicable Products
This document is designed as the ecosystem-level legal text for SZLK products. A product may add a product-specific supplement for its service description, data flows, pricing model, content risks, or jurisdictional scope. If there is a conflict, the product-specific supplement applies only to that product and only to the extent of the stated conflict.
Rights Overview
Depending on location and applicable law, users may request access to personal data, a copy of data, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent, opt-out of sale or sharing, limitation of sensitive-data use, and information about how data is collected, used, shared, retained, and protected.
Submission Channels
Each product should provide a privacy request form or contact method. A request may also be submitted by the contact route displayed in the product. Product forms remain in the product so that the user can complete the request in the same user experience where the data was collected.
Identity Verification
SZLK may verify a request by matching account email, login status, order reference, device or browser signal, or other reasonable information. SZLK will not require more information than reasonably necessary to verify and fulfil the request.
Response Time
SZLK aims to respond within 30 days where UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, or within the period required by applicable local privacy law. If more time is needed, SZLK will tell the user where required and explain the reason.
What a Request Can Cover
A request may cover account data, profile data, billing identifiers, generated outputs, uploaded files, support messages, consent records, analytics identifiers, or other product data associated with the user. Some records may be excluded where retention is required for legal claims, accounting, fraud prevention, security, compliance, or another lawful exception.
Deletion Requests
Where deletion applies, SZLK will delete or de-identify eligible data from active systems and allow backups to roll off according to retention schedules. Deletion may affect access to paid entitlements, generated history, account features, and product continuity.
Access and Portability
Where portability applies, SZLK will provide data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format where reasonably possible. Generated outputs, files, and records may be delivered through the product, secure link, email, or another reasonable method.
Non-Discrimination
SZLK will not unlawfully discriminate against a user for exercising privacy rights. Some features may be unavailable where the data requested for deletion or restriction is necessary to provide that feature.
Authorised Agents
Where applicable law allows an authorised agent to submit a request, SZLK may require proof of authority and may still need to verify the user's identity directly.
Display Boundary
SZLKlaws maintains the formal legal text, versions, effective dates, product applicability, approval state, archive, and audit trail. Each product continues to present the applicable content in its own route, layout, language switch, typography, forms, and user experience. Users should not need to understand SZLKlaws as an internal document system.
